WoW gold is sold per thousand, per realm, per version — and all three matter. A listing here is per unit: you name the size of one unit (a thousand is the retail convention), how many units you have and the smallest order you take; the buyer picks a quantity and the total is your unit price times that number. Retail, Classic Era, Hardcore and the current Classic season are separate economies.

What the listing must say

• Version, realm and faction first — gold crosses none of them.
• The unit size, the stock in units and the minimum order.
• How you hand over — mail, trade or an auction-house buyout — and when you are online, in a timezone.
• Whether you can fill large orders in one go or split them.

How the handover works

• The buyer's character name and realm are on the order page after payment.
• Mail or trade the gold, mark the order delivered; the buyer confirms.
• Split large amounts across several mails or trades.

Every order here runs through SmurfGuard escrow, in the same five steps:

1. The buyer pays. The money goes into SmurfGuard escrow — not to you, not to us.
2. The order appears in your seller cabinet at /seller/orders with everything the buyer gave: character name, trade link, or the access for a piloted order.
3. You hand over — in game, by trade offer, or with the account — and mark the order delivered on that page.
4. The buyer confirms. Your share moves to hold.
5. It stays on hold until the warranty window ends, then lands on your balance.

How to price it

• Per thousand, against the realm's going rate this week; a dead realm's gold is dearer than a full one's.
• Classic and Retail gold are priced separately — never one number for both.
• No volume discount ladder: one unit price for the first unit and the hundredth.

What can go wrong

• Blizzard forbids selling gold; enforcement lands on the accounts involved. Escrow protects the payment, not the account.
• Keep trades small enough that a single rollback does not hurt.

What you receive

The commission is 0%: you receive exactly the price you set — not the price minus a percentage, not the price minus a transaction fee, not the price minus a withdrawal charge. There is no listing fee, no monthly fee and no seller rank that unlocks a better rate later. The hold is not a fee either: it is what makes a buyer willing to pay a stranger before receiving anything, and it is released the moment the warranty window closes.

Every new listing goes through moderation before it reaches the storefront. The check is about the listing being accurate — the details above, stated plainly — not about you proving anything.

Seller ranks

Your store carries a rank badge — New, Rising, Top or Elite — computed from confirmed sales, rating and reviews, and recomputed after every sale and every review. It changes nothing about the fee, the hold or the warranty: it is what buyers see next to your name on every listing, and one of the ways they can sort a shelf.
