How to sell Genshin characters
What buyers of Genshin characters ask first, how the handover works in this game, how to price it, and what can go wrong. Escrow on every order; you receive exactly the price you set.
Nothing in Genshin trades, so a five-star character or weapon is sold with the account, and the listing is an account listing priced by its roster: limited five-stars with their constellations, signature weapons with their refinement, adventure rank and end-game progress. Standard banner five-stars add almost nothing and should not lead the listing.
What buyers ask first — and what the listing must say
- Limited five-stars with constellation levels and five-star weapons with refinement — that list is the price.
- Adventure rank, story progress and the Spiral Abyss record.
- Server (it cannot change) and whether the email and linked accounts can be changed.
- Primogems, stored pity and a screenshot of the character page with the UID visible.
How the handover works
- The buyer receives the login and the email after paying; there is no character transfer.
- The buyer changes the email, the password and the linked accounts inside the warranty window.
- A HoYoverse account with a changeable email is the floor; without it there is no sale.
Every order here runs through SmurfGuard escrow, in the same five steps:
- The buyer pays. The money goes into SmurfGuard escrow — not to you, not to us.
- The order appears in your seller cabinet at /seller/orders with everything the buyer gave: character name, trade link, or the access for a piloted order.
- You hand over — in game, by trade offer, or with the account — and mark the order delivered on that page.
- The buyer confirms. Your share moves to hold.
- It stays on hold until the warranty window ends, then lands on your balance.
How to price it
- Limited five-stars in the meta at high constellations with their signature weapon set the price; everything else is a small premium on top.
- The same roster on AR 60 with the Abyss cleared sells for more than on a fresh account.
- Primogems and pity add roughly the pulls they represent.

What can go wrong
- The original owner holds the purchase history and can recover the account; a buyer prices that in and an original owner should say so.
- HoYoverse's terms forbid account sales; enforcement lands on the account.
What you receive
The commission is 0%: you receive exactly the price you set — not the price minus a percentage, not the price minus a transaction fee, not the price minus a withdrawal charge. There is no listing fee, no monthly fee and no seller rank that unlocks a better rate later. The hold is not a fee either: it is what makes a buyer willing to pay a stranger before receiving anything, and it is released the moment the warranty window closes.
Every new listing goes through moderation before it reaches the storefront. The check is about the listing being accurate — the details above, stated plainly — not about you proving anything.
Seller ranks
Your store carries a rank badge — New, Rising, Top or Elite — computed from confirmed sales, rating and reviews, and recomputed after every sale and every review. It changes nothing about the fee, the hold or the warranty: it is what buyers see next to your name on every listing, and one of the ways they can sort a shelf. What adds the most value?

Barely — they are on every account that has played long enough.
How is the money paid out?
