Is it safe to buy a DayZ account?

Every listing carries the full locker upfront, checkout runs inside the platform, and credentials land in your dashboard the moment payment confirms. Nothing is arranged with the seller off-site.

Two kinds of listing live on this page. Einzigartiger Account is one exact account from a verified seller — you see what you buy. Zufälliger Account and named come from the house pool: the guaranteed part is stated, the rest is chance.

The edition is the one number-shaped thing on this shelf. The standard game is the base, Livonia adds the second map, and the Frostline «Cool Edition» and the Deluxe edition — the game with the expansions — sit at about twice the standard price. We read the edition from the title, because the supplier's field behind the card is coarser than the sellers' own words and labels the dear lots wrong.

The other games do not price. Sellers list DayZ beside Rust, Arma, SCUM, PUBG, Palworld, Squad — and the shelf pays the same for an account with one game and an account with four. Those are supply-house accounts stocked with cheap keys, and the market knows it. For a buyer that is the arbitrage: read the library, take the fuller one at the same price, and do not pay a premium for it.

The hours are a second product. «0 hours» is the fresh account, the cheap end — bought as a clean start. Accounts with «AFK hours» in the title, hundreds or thousands of them, are farmed on purpose: DayZ community servers gate entry by hours on record, and a farmed account walks through the gate. The premium over the standard game is what the farming took.

The rest of the title is the handover. «Full access» and «data change» mean the account becomes yours — email, password, Steam Guard. «Native mail» means the original mailbox comes with it. «No bans» is a claim about the account's history, and «region» says which Steam store the account belongs to.

What a DayZ listing states, and what each line is worth

Decide which product you want first: a clean account to start on, an edition with the maps you play, or hours to get through a server's gate. The three are priced differently and the title says which one a listing is.

Then read the handover before the edition. «Full access» plus «data change» is the whole purchase: without both, the account stays reachable by whoever holds the mailbox. «Native mail» is better still — the original mailbox comes with the account.

Then the region. A Steam account keeps its store region, and a Russia- or CIS-region account has a different store, currency and gifting rules from a European one. Read it before you compare prices across the shelf.

Only then the library. If two listings cost the same and one names Rust or Arma beside DayZ, take that one — the shelf is not charging you for it.

The login is the risk. A Steam account is recovered through its email and its Steam Guard, and a seller who keeps either can take the account back. «Data change» is the promise that you can replace both; check it in the first ten minutes, not the first week.

Bans travel with the account. DayZ runs BattlEye, and a game ban or a VAC mark on the Steam profile stays on it forever — «no bans» is the seller's claim, and the profile is the evidence. Steam's terms forbid selling accounts; a bought account carries whatever its previous owner did.

Escrow covers the handover: the payment stays with us until you confirm the account opens, the game and the edition are in the library, and the login is yours. The warranty window runs from there. What it cannot cover is a store region you did not read, or a server that requires more hours than the listing stated.

Take the account over before you install anything; the library you are checking is exactly what the old mailbox could still reach.

In this order

1Change the email, then the password, then re-enrol Steam Guard on your own phone; check the recovery phone is gone.
2Open the library and find DayZ and the edition — Livonia and Frostline appear as DLC on the game's page.
3Open the game's page for the hours on record if the listing sold hours, and the profile for any ban mark.
4Check the store region in the account settings.
5Only then confirm the order. Until you do, the money is with us and not with the seller.

Lead with the edition — it is how the shelf is sorted and how the edition slices are built; a title that does not name it sells as the standard game. Then the hours, if you farmed them, and the handover: say that the email and password change and whether the native mailbox comes with it. List the other games, but do not price them in; the shelf will not. You keep your price in full; the buyer pays our fee on top.
