sells under $1,000, and the top is priced like a car. Rise of Kingdoms sits
with Call of Dragons at the expensive end of everything we price, and for the
same reason: what is being sold is years on one kingdom, and years cannot be
bought quickly.
Every listing on this shelf writes the same numbers in the same order — power,
VIP, kill points, passports, gold heads, skins — because two seller houses
write nearly all of it and they have settled on a format. Here is how much each
of those numbers tracks the price:
The top line is the one worth pausing on. On this shelf VIP tracks the price
more tightly than power does — and that is unusual. On Call of Dragons, the
other kingdom-builder we price, VIP was the number that meant nothing, because
nearly every listing stated the same one. Here the ladder runs from the low
teens to VIP 19 and then to SVIP above it, the listings are spread along it,
and the price climbs the ladder step for step:
Why would a spending badge beat the account's actual strength? Because VIP is
the one number on the card that cannot be earned. Power is time plus money;
kill points are time plus war; VIP is money and nothing else — it is a receipt
for what was spent on the account, and a resale market prices receipts very
well. SVIP is the tier above VIP 19, and the SVIP row above is where the whales
live.
Power tracks price almost as tightly, and it is the number a buyer actually
filters on — nobody searches for a VIP level, everybody searches for a power
band. The steps are steep: from the second band to the top is an order of
magnitude, and inside a band the differences are far smaller than between
bands. We checked that this ladder is not an artefact of which seller house
listed the account: it holds inside each half of the shelf separately.
Power in Rise of Kingdoms is the sum of buildings, technology, troops and
commander levels, every one behind a timer that spending shortens and nothing
removes. A high total is a receipt for a long time on the account, and the
market pays for the time.
«12B kill» in a title is twelve billion kill points — the record of enemy
troops the account has destroyed, mostly in Kingdom versus Kingdom seasons. It
is a status number inside the game and a price number on this shelf, and it
tracks price about as hard as VIP does.
Two things to read carefully in that table. First, the row for listings that
state no kill points is the cheapest row by a wide margin: the cheaper
seller house does not write kill points at all, so «not stated» here mostly
means «a smaller account». Second, at equal power, the fought account is the
dearer one — a governor who was there for the KvK seasons is worth more than
one who only built, and the kill points are how you tell them apart.
Skins — the premium commander and city skins — track price hard, but read
that row of «not stated» against the grain: it is the cheap end, because the
cheaper house counts «skin houses» rather than commander skins and the parser
leaves those out. Among the listings that do count skins, ten or more is the
top of the shelf.
Passports and gold heads add less than they look. Passports are migration
passport pages — the item that lets the account leave its kingdom for another —
and they separate the cheap end from the middle but do not sort the top.
Gold heads are gold sculptures, the commander-upgrade currency; a stack of them
says the account has upgrades in hand, and that is worth something between two
otherwise equal listings, and not before.
Then there is the farm. A farm account is a small-power account whose only job
is to feed resources to a main on the same kingdom. It is listed by the same
sellers, in the same format, and it is a different product at a different
price — which is why it has its own slice below rather than a row in these
tables.
The kingdom. An account lives in one kingdom, and moving it needs passport
pages and a target kingdom that will take it. If you are buying to join a
specific alliance, the passport count is a precondition, not a bonus, and the
kingdom number in the listing is the first thing to check.
And the login. A Rise of Kingdoms account is reached through a Lilith account
or a Google, Apple, Facebook or Game Center login bound to it. At these prices
the purchase is the login and the email behind it; an account that stays bound
to a social login you cannot take over is an account the previous owner can
recover, whatever the power says.
Write the title the way this shelf reads it — power, VIP, kill points,
passports, gold heads, skins — because that is the order buyers filter in, and
a listing without a stated power is invisible to the power slices. Then the
commanders with screenshots: the strongest listings say «commanders: see
picture» rather than counting them, and at equal power the roster is what
