Rank first, and it sorts the shelf into three classes rather than sliding along it. Unranked and Bronze share the entry price: an account that never queued and one that stopped at the bottom of the ladder are worth about the same. Silver, Gold and Platinum are the band above — the bulk of the ranked stock, a step dearer and close to one another. Grandmaster and everything past it is a class of its own, listed and priced one account at a time, because getting there is measured in seasons rather than evenings. The rank on the card is where the previous owner stopped; the table below is the ladder it sits on.

The collection second, and it is what separates two accounts of the same rank. Costumes are bought with Units, Units come from play or from Lattice bought with money, and none of it can leave the account — a costume is worth exactly the account it lives on. Buyers search by name: Twitch-drop and event costumes that were available for a window and are not in the store, and the golden rank rewards handed out at a season's end to accounts that finished at Gold or higher. Under the costumes sits the balance itself; unspent Units and Lattice are money already on the account, and a card that shows the currency screen is pricing them in.

Level moves the price least and is mostly a proxy. It rises with time in the game, and time in this game usually means battle passes worked through — a pass here does not expire with its season, so a high level tends to mean seasons of unlocked pass content. Two accounts with the same rank and a wide gap in level differ far less in price than the gap suggests; read the level as how much the account was played, then check what that play left behind.

The account's paperwork sets the floor. A native account — created by the seller and never bought — sells above a resold one with the same content, because nobody before the seller holds a way back in. Whether a Steam login is included, whether a console is still linked and whether the NetEase mailbox comes with it are not value either; they decide whether the account stays yours.

Where it plays first. On PC the game starts through Steam, so a Marvel Rivals account is only usable with a Steam login attached: either the card includes one — a second account with its own mailbox and Steam Guard — or the NetEase account has been unlinked so that you attach your own Steam. Both are normal; a card that says neither is not describing the product yet. A console link on the card means a stranger's PlayStation or Xbox is still bound to the account and has to come off before it is fully yours.

Then what you want the rank for. An account that never played competitive starts from the bottom of the ladder and inherits nothing from anyone; a ranked one starts where the previous owner stopped, minus whatever the season reset took since. Read the rank together with the season it was earned in — the seller's title usually names it — because a badge from several seasons back has been reset more than once already.

Third, the collection, by name rather than by count. Costumes that can be bought in the store any day add little; the ones to look for are named in the title and shown in the screenshots — Twitch drops, event costumes, the golden rank rewards — along with the Units and Lattice screen. Nothing transfers in from another account, so what the card shows is everything the account will ever have until you spend on it yourself.

Access last, and never optional; native is the bonus. Full access means the NetEase mailbox comes with the account: support restores the account to the registered email, and until that email is yours the recovery route belongs to someone else. Native means the seller created the account and never bought it, so there is no earlier owner in the chain.

NetEase's terms forbid selling or transferring an account, and the account you receive is a NetEase account: its owner, as far as support is concerned, is whoever controls the registered email. Enforcement runs on reports rather than sweeps — nothing checks an account at the moment it changes hands, but a teammate's report on an account that suddenly plays like a different person from a different country gets it looked at, and a sharing ban is what follows. Play from one place and keep the account to yourself.

The route back in is not the email alone. On PC the game is entered through Steam, and the previous owner's Steam login opens the NetEase account without any email at all — which is why a bought account either comes with that Steam login or comes unlinked. A Steam login you receive is a second account with its own recovery path: its mailbox and Steam Guard. Secure it as carefully as the NetEase side, or the account has two doors and you hold the key to one.

What a cheap listing is: a resold account with an owner two links back who still has a mailbox, a Steam login or a linked console; an account shared with several buyers at once; or a fresh account with nothing on it that costs the seller an evening to make. The warranty covers a recovery by the previous owner; it does not cover NetEase acting on the transfer itself, and nobody honest will sell you that cover.

Start with whichever door you were given. If a Steam login came with the account, change its password, move its email to yours and set up Steam Guard on your own phone before you open the game; if the account came unlinked, link your own Steam at the first login. Then, in the game's account settings, bind the NetEase account to your own email — or move it there, if the seller's was attached — and unlink every platform you do not own.

Only then compare the profile with the card: level, rank and the season it shows, the costumes named in the title, and the Units and Lattice balance on the store screen. Do it while the confirmation window is open — the seller's money stays frozen until you confirm, and a mismatch found then is a dispute, not a loss.

Listing is free, and you receive exactly the price you set: there is no seller commission — the platform's fee is added on top and paid by the buyer. What sells a Marvel Rivals account is stated plainly: the rank and the season it was earned in, whether the account is native, whether a Steam login is included or the account comes unlinked, which consoles are linked, the costumes by name on a screenshot rather than in a sentence, and the Units and Lattice balance on a screenshot of the store screen. An account sold with its NetEase mailbox is a different product from the same account without it, and buyers filter on that first.
