Limited characters, constellations and the region you cannot change. Why account level matters least, and what a starter account actually buys you.

Adventure Rank sorts the Genshin shelf harder than anything on the roster, and it holds up inside every kind of listing we sell. Five-star count now beats constellations — the opposite of what this page said three weeks ago — and the reason is worth understanding before you price. Every figure is read live from our catalogue.
A Genshin account is a HoYoverse account, and a HoYoverse account is an email. Created through Google, Apple, PSN or Facebook — still an email: without it the account cannot be changed or recovered. How to link and change the email, how HoYoverse returns an account through its form, why PlayStation unlinks once, and why «unbound» and «full access» are different products.
There are four Genshin servers, you cannot move an account between them, and our shelf prices them very differently. Most of that difference is not the server. Here is what each one is, how to choose, and how to read the price table without being misled by it.
Gacha accounts price differently from every other category we carry. There is no rank and no server ping to weigh — the whole value sits in what the account pulled and when.
A five-star that is permanently in the standard pool is worth a fraction of a five-star that ran once on a banner and has no scheduled return. Both look identical on a character screen; only one is scarce.
That is the first thing to read on a listing: which limited characters, and whether they are the ones that come back.
A character at C0 and the same character at C2 are different characters in practice — the second one plays around mechanics the first cannot access. Prices follow that jump rather than scaling smoothly, which is why two accounts with "the same" roster can differ twofold.
The same holds for weapon refinements: a signature weapon at R1 and R5 are not one step apart in value.
Adventure Rank gates what you can do next — which domains open, what artifacts drop — but it is the one thing you can raise yourself in a few weeks. Paying a premium for AR is paying for the cheapest part of the account.
Sequence for reading a listing: limited characters → constellations → weapons → AR. Ours state all four; live medians are on the Genshin price page.
Set at account creation, and progress does not move between regions. It decides two things:
If you play with friends, match their region before anything else. The character roster can be improved later; the region cannot be changed at all.
A large part of this market is starter accounts: fresh accounts rerolled until they pulled something valuable early. They are cheap, they carry one or two strong characters, and the rest of the progression is ahead of you.
That is a legitimate purchase if what you want is a good start rather than a finished account. What it is not is a shortcut to an endgame roster, and listings that blur the two are worth reading twice.
Browse Genshin accounts and Star Rail accounts — the roster is on every card.
The same factors work in reverse: if the account you are pricing is your own, selling a Genshin account here starts with the same live numbers, and the listing is free until it sells.
Looking for free rewards rather than an account? The live Genshin Impact redeem codes list is reconciled against the wiki and dated, so a dead code never sits among the active ones.
