A War Thunder account is research and purchases, and nothing in it ever resets. The shelf sells two things under one name: a researched tech-tree line — a nation's aviation or ground tree taken from rank I to rank VI, VII or VIII — and a collection of premium vehicles bought with Golden Eagles or in packs. The first is months of grinding; the second is money, and both survive as long as the account does. The rank in the title is the fastest way to tell where an account stands, and the premiums are what make one account dearer than another at the same rank.
