Chatting with the seller

One chat per listing

Open the listing and press CHAT WITH SELLER. The conversation is tied to that specific listing, so nothing gets mixed up between two purchases, and it stays attached to the order afterwards — a dispute reads it.

Pool listings have no seller

Chests and named skins are sold by the marketplace itself. There is no seller to write to; support handles them.

What to keep out of chat

Credentials. Never ask for them in chat and never accept them there. For an account they arrive on the order page after payment; for a piloted boost, your access is submitted on the order page and reaches the booster there. A seller who asks you to pay outside the marketplace, or to send a trade before the order is paid, is asking you to give up escrow — decline and report it.

Before you buy

Ask about anything the card does not state. A seller who answers in specifics is the seller you want; the card and the chat together are what a dispute is judged against.
