If you want one number: the median Clash of Clans account on our shelf sells for
$39.18. The range right now runs from
$1.46 to
$1,593.51 across
935 listings, with the middle half
between $16.82 and
$104.34.
It is an accessible shelf — 29,5%
of it sells under $20 — with a real top end:
26,2% clears $100. Which half a
listing lands in is decided almost entirely by two numbers.

Almost every account states a Town Hall, and the ladder is clean the whole way
up. The top band is where most of the shelf's money sits: upgrading the last two
Town Halls takes months of real time even with a full builder set, and that time
is precisely what a buyer is paying to skip.
Look at the first row of the correlation table again. Builder Hall — the half of
Clash of Clans most players treat as an afterthought — tracks the price at least
as hard as the Town Hall does.
| Builder Hall | listings | median |
|---|
| under BH7 | 173 | $15.65 |
| BH7 – BH8 | 99 | $31.40 |
| BH9 | 68 | $46.96 |
| BH10 | 281 | $160.09 |
| not stated | 314 | $28.16 |
Before you conclude that the Builder Base is secretly valuable, here is what is
actually going on. We split the shelf on Builder Hall 10 and looked at what those
accounts otherwise are: accounts with a maxed Builder Hall have a median Town
Hall of 18, the maximum. Accounts below BH10 have a median Town Hall of 13.
So the Builder Hall is not an independent axis — it is a completeness signal.
The Builder Base is optional enough that rushed and farmed accounts skip it, and
a maxed one therefore appears almost exclusively on accounts that were finished
rather than pushed. That makes it one of the most useful single things to check
on a listing, and it is more informative than the Town Hall itself precisely
because not everyone bothers.
It is also worth reading the bottom row of that table — the listings that do not
state a Builder Hall at all. That group sits near the bottom of the shelf, which
fits the same story: an account whose Builder Base is worth mentioning usually
gets it mentioned.
Best trophies and the Barbarian King level trail well behind both halls, and that
is not surprising once you separate what each number describes. Trophies are a
seasonal position that moves with how much the account has been played recently;
hero levels rise with the Town Hall anyway, so they mostly repeat it.
Neither is useless in a listing — they add credibility — but neither will change
your price bracket.
Two things decide whether a Clash of Clans account is a good buy, and neither
appears in any table on this page.
- The clan and the war log. An account that has been in a serious war clan
has a history you can see in game, and it is what distinguishes a played
account from a farmed one at the same Town Hall.
- Whether the Supercell ID can actually be transferred. This is the whole
risk on this shelf. Read the access terms on the card before you read anything
else, because a maxed account you cannot hold is worth nothing.
- Lead with the Town Hall. It is the number the shelf sorts by and the number
buyers search for.
- State the Builder Hall, especially at 10. It costs you one line and it
tells a buyer the account was finished rather than rushed.
- Then heroes and trophies, as supporting detail rather than headline.
- Say plainly how the account is delivered. On this shelf that question
decides more sales than any statistic.
Pick your Town Hall band first, then use the Builder Hall to choose within it —
at the same Town Hall, the account with the maxed Builder Base has almost always
had more real time put into it.
The Clash of Clans shelf carries live medians on each
Town Hall slice — TH18, TH17,
TH16, TH15 — and when you are
ready to list, sell your Clash of Clans account: escrow
holds the payment until the buyer confirms the login works.
Every figure on this page is read from our live catalogue when the page loads,
not written into the text — the shelf moves, and so do the numbers. Correlations
are Spearman coefficients, computed on ranks rather than raw prices. Town Hall
and Builder Hall come from the sellers' listings; trophies and hero levels come
from the Supercell API and are present on a smaller part of the shelf, which is
why every table prints its own listing count.
