What the average elixir actually tells you

• It is a speed dial, not a score. A cheap deck cycles back to its win condition faster; an expensive one hits harder when it lands. Neither number is “correct” on its own.
• The spread matters as much as the mean. Eight cards all costing four is a very different deck from four ones and four sevens, and both average the same.
• Card levels are not in this number. A deck of level 9 cards and the same deck at level 14 look identical here and play nothing alike — which is exactly why account level decides so much of what a deck is worth.
