Float value

A number from 0 to 1 describing a skin's wear; lower is cleaner and, within a wear tier, more valuable.

Every CS2 skin instance has a float that fixes its wear tier — Factory New below 0.07, Minimal Wear to 0.15, Field-Tested to 0.38, Well-Worn to 0.45, Battle-Scarred above. Within a tier the lowest floats trade highest, and a float just under a boundary is a collector's item. Listings for skins state the exact float.
