EA — Frequently Asked Questions

Anything these answers miss, Live Chat picks up — human, around the clock.

Is an EA account the same as an Origin account?

Yes. Origin was renamed the EA app; the account, the library and the login are the same thing under a new name. Older listings and older searches still say Origin.

Why are most EA accounts here so cheap?

Because most of them are old libraries — Battlefield 3 and 4, early Sims, games that are now bundled, free or a few euros on sale. The price follows the one game people still buy today, and an account with a current title is priced very differently from one without. Read the title.

Can I play the games if they were bought on Steam?

Only with the Steam login they came through. An EA-app library shows Steam-bought games, but launching them needs the Steam account that owns them. The card says whether that login is part of the deal — if it is not, treat those games as not included.

Does EA Play transfer with the account?

Whatever time is left on it, yes — it is on the account, not on the person. It expires on its own, and renewing it needs your own payment method in the account's country.

Can I play a bought EA account on my console?

Only through the platform it is linked to. An account with a PlayStation or Xbox link plays on that console with that profile, and EA limits how links can be changed. Check the links on the card before paying.

How risky is buying an EA account?

More than a Steam library: the publisher watches transfers and returns accounts to whoever shows the first receipts. What you control is the mailbox — take it over in the first ten minutes — and the choice of a listing whose games were bought on the EA app rather than through a Steam login you will not get.

Most secure marketplace to buy EA accounts

Every listing carries the full locker upfront, checkout runs inside the platform, and credentials land in your dashboard the moment payment confirms. Nothing is arranged with the seller off-site.

Two kinds of listing live on this page. Unique account is one exact account from a verified seller — you see what you buy. Random account and named come from the house pool: the guaranteed part is stated, the rest is chance.

One specific game, almost always. An EA library is not priced by the count: a great many accounts here are Battlefield-era libraries from a decade ago, and those sell for the price of a coffee however many titles they hold. What moves an account up is a game people still buy today — a current FC, a recent Battlefield, The Sims with expansions — and the card's title says whether it is there.

Apex progress, when it is there. An EA account that also carries a played Apex Legends profile is priced partly as an Apex account; those with a real rank and level are listed on the Apex shelf, and the ones here carry it as a bonus.

EA Play, if it is active, and the platform links. A subscription with time left on it is value that expires; a link to a PlayStation or Xbox profile is what makes the account playable on that console at all. Neither is a large number, both are on the card.

The country of the account is not value, but it decides which store the account buys from and in which currency, and EA does not let you move it freely. Check it against how you intend to pay.

What is on the card, and how much it really changes
On the accountWhat it gives youHow replaceable it is
A current game in the libraryThe game itself, at today's store priceNot at all — that is what you pay for
An old libraryTitles from a decade ago, many now free or bundledFully — hence the price
EA Play with time leftAccess to the catalogue until it expiresFully — it is a subscription
A console profile linkedPlay on that PlayStation or Xbox under that profileWith difficulty — EA restricts relinking
Steam-bought entitlementsPlayable only with the Steam login they came throughDepends on whether that login is included

Name the game first. If you are here for one title, search the titles for it rather than sorting by count — a library of forty old games is not a library of one new one. The count filter is for people who want a broad shelf of older titles, and that is a legitimate reason to buy, just a different one.

Then where the game was bought, because on EA that decides where it plays. A game purchased through the EA app plays through the EA app. A game that came through Steam is an entitlement tied to that Steam account, and it plays only with that Steam login — the card says whether one is included.

Third, the platform links and the country: a console-linked account plays on that console with that profile, and a country you cannot pay in is a liability. Fourth, EA Play, if any time is left on it.

The mailbox decides ownership, so treat it as part of the price: without it the previous owner keeps a route back in through EA's recovery process, which runs on the purchase history they still hold.

Selling or sharing an EA account is against EA's terms, and EA is one of the publishers that actually looks: an account it catches changing hands can be closed outright, and its support hands accounts back to whoever holds the earliest purchase receipts. So there are two exposures here. The previous owner's claim is the one you can shut — with the mailbox included, you change the email and the password and their route back is gone. EA's own reaction to the transfer is the one nobody can shut, and no warranty, ours included, covers it.

Specific to this shelf: a game removed from the library because the original payment charged back is invisible from outside, and an unusually cheap account with expensive recent purchases deserves a second look. And an entitlement that came through Steam does not become an EA-app copy — if the Steam login is not part of the deal, that game is not part of the deal either.

Password first, then the email, then EA login verification — each step closes a door the previous owner could still use, so the order is not optional. On the linked accounts page, drop any platform link that is not yours, and if a Steam login came with the account, repeat the three steps on it.

Then open the EA app and walk the library against the card's title, game by game, and check the country and any EA Play time left — before you confirm the order, because confirming is what releases the seller's money.

In this exact order
  1. 1Change the EA app password
  2. 2Move the login email to your own
  3. 3Enable EA login verification
  4. 4Unlink platforms that are not yours
  5. 5Walk the library, the country and EA Play against the card

Listing is free and the commission applies on the sale. What sells an EA account is the game people are looking for, named in the first line, then everything else stated plainly: the rest of the library, the country, which platforms are linked, whether any game came through Steam, and whether the mailbox is included. A count without names is what the cheapest accounts on this shelf look like — name the titles.
