If you want one number: the median Escape from Tarkov account on our shelf
sells for $170.99. The range
right now runs from $39.78 to
$2,161.76 across
69 listings, with the middle
half between $94.44 and
$378.31.
Tarkov is unusual among the games we price because most of what a player
builds is temporary. Level, stash contents and roubles reset with the game's
periodic wipe. So the question «what is my account worth» has a shorter
answer here than almost anywhere: it is worth its edition and its
region, plus whatever survives a reset — and the shelf prices exactly
that.
That is the publisher's own tier list, priced by a resale market. Standard is
the base game; Prepare for Escape adds a larger stash and better starting
standing with the traders; Edge of Darkness was the all-inclusive edition —
largest stash, best secure container, every expansion — and is no longer sold
new, which is why it holds its price; The Unheard Edition is the current top
tier with its own bundled extras.
An edition is permanent. Nothing in it resets, and that is why a fresh Edge of
Darkness account with no hours played is worth several times a fresh Standard
one. We checked that the ladder is not an artefact of which listings state
their hours: it holds among listings that state them and among listings that
do not.
Battlestate prices the game per region and locks a licence to where it was
bought: a RU/CIS licence plays from the CIS. On our shelf that shows up as a
genuine price difference, not a composition effect — we cross-tabulated
edition against region, and inside every edition the CIS licence is the
cheap one and the EU or Global licence the dear one.
Read that in both directions. If you play from the CIS, the region row is
your discount. If you play from anywhere else, it is not a discount at all: a
CIS licence bought from Berlin opens the launcher and refuses the servers. A
listing that says «RU/GLOBAL via upgrade» is a CIS purchase later upgraded
with the publisher to play from anywhere, and it is priced as Global because
that is what it now is.
Titles on this shelf carry «0 hours», «1200H», «49 LVL», «3.45M stash», and
a newcomer reads them as the price. They are not, for the reason above: a
wipe erases them. Between two listings of the same edition and region they
say whether the account was played this wipe, and a played account carries
the stash it built — which is worth something until the next reset, and
nothing after it.
The exception is prestige, the rank earned by playing a wipe to its end.
It carries over, and the listings that state «1 prestige» or «2 prestige» are
priced for it. That is the one progress number on this shelf that behaves
like the edition rather than like the stash.
«0 hours», meanwhile, is not the absence of value. On a game that bans by
hardware and by account, a licence that was never played has nothing to
inherit — no ban, no flag, no history — and buyers who know the game pay for
that cleanliness.
The PvE mode is bundled with the top editions and sold as an add-on to the
others, and a Standard account «+ PVE» is a different product from a plain
Standard one; Arena, the standalone shooter, comes bundled the same way. Our
PvE slice holds the accounts that state the mode.
It is a real part of the price on the lower editions and table stakes on the
upper ones, where it comes included.
The login. Tarkov lives on a Battlestate launcher account or, since the Steam
release, on a Steam account; either way the account is recovered through its
email, and a listing without the mailbox is an account the seller can take
back. On a shelf where the goods are licences, that line is the whole
purchase.
Lead with the edition and the region — the two things every buyer filters
on, and a lot without them is invisible to the edition slices. Then whether
PvE and Arena are included, and whether the licence is on the Battlestate
launcher or on Steam. State the prestige if you have one; state «0 hours» if
it is fresh. Say plainly that the email comes with it.
The slices carry their own live medians —
Standard,
Prepare for Escape,
Edge of Darkness,
The Unheard Edition — and when you are ready,
sell your Escape from Tarkov account: escrow
holds the payment until the buyer confirms the launcher opens, the edition
matches, and the servers for their region answer.
Every figure on this page is read from our live catalogue when the page
loads, not written into the text — the shelf moves, and so do the numbers.
The edition is read from the supplier's own data where it exists and from the
listing's title otherwise; the region is read from the title. The edition
ladder was checked among listings that state hours and among those that do
not, and the region difference inside each edition separately. Rows with one
or two listings are a direction, not a rate.
