«How do I bind my PUBG Mobile account» is asked either before an account is
lost or right after. The answer is short, because PUBG Mobile has no login
of its own: the character lives behind the social account it is linked to.
Everything else follows from that.
A PUBG Mobile character is created one of several ways: guest, Google (Game
Center on iOS), Facebook, Twitter and others. One linked social account, one
character. A linked character opens on any device and any OS if you sign in
with the same social account.
| login | where the character lives | what happens on a new phone |
|---|
| Guest | on the device | gone on a reset, a reinstall or a new phone — KRAFTON says plainly that a guest's progress and purchases are not protected |
| Google / Game Center | on the servers, behind the Google or Apple account | opens on the new device with the same login |
| Facebook, Twitter | on the servers, behind the profile | the same |
Binding is done in the game: avatar → settings → account → bind. A guest is
bound before anything in the right column happens; after it, there is
nothing left to bind.
Since the July 2020 update the game has social unlinking — with a
condition: you can unlink only if two social accounts are linked to the
character. One of the two is removed in the account settings; the only
one cannot be, or the character would be left with no login. That is why
«why can't I unlink my account» is the most common question in the help
centre: there is one binding.
Hence the order for anyone who wants to change the login: link a second
social account — your own — first, then remove the first.
Recovery here works differently from Supercell or HoYoverse: PUBG Mobile
has no email of its own and no proofs of its own. If access to the linked
Google or Facebook is lost, the help centre sends you to that network's
support — KRAFTON has no access to other people's social accounts and no
way to check whose character it is. Recover the social account and you have
the character back; fail to, and nobody returns it.
For a buyer that is the main fact on this page: the account belongs to
whoever owns the social account, and there is no other authority.
- The listing is the social account. You are handed the Google,
Facebook or Twitter login the character is linked to. It is yours as far
as that login is yours: change the password, the recovery email, the
phone, remove other devices.
- The best case is your own binding. After signing in, link a
second social account — your own — and unlink the one you were
handed. From that moment the previous owner cannot get in, even by
recovering their social account. It is the only way the account stops
depending on the seller.
- «2 BINDINGS: GOOGLE • QR» in a title is the seller saying which
logins open the character: Google and a QR-code login. Two bindings is
exactly the case where one can be removed.
- A guest listing is a character bound to the seller's device; it
cannot be handed over whole, only by binding it to a social account. A
listing that promises a guest «as is» promises what KRAFTON does not keep.
What prices an account inside the shelf — rank, level, mythic skins — is
on the shelf itself and in its slices; here only the handover line matters.
The «full access» row is the listings where the linked login goes to the
buyer.
- Sign in with the social account you were handed and change its
password, recovery email and phone; remove other devices and sessions.
- In the game: settings → account → link your own second social account.
- Unlink the one you were handed. Check that the character opens with
yours alone.
- Only then confirm the order. Until you do, the money is with us and not
with the seller.
The slices carry their own live medians:
And when you are ready — sell your PUBG Mobile account:
escrow holds the payment until the buyer confirms the character opens and
the binding has become theirs.
The table on this page is read from our live catalogue when the page
loads, not written into the text — the shelf moves, and so do the numbers.
The binding, unlinking and recovery rules follow KRAFTON's help centre at
the time of writing; unlinking is possible only with two linked social
accounts.
