Ask "which World of Tanks server" and you get an answer from before 2022. Today
the question has a different shape, because there are two games — and an account
for one cannot log into the other.

In 2022 Wargaming handed its Russian and Belarusian business to Lesta Games,
and the two have developed the game separately since. They share a history and
most of the tank roster, but they are different products now: different
updates, different premium shop, different events, and completely separate
accounts. A Lesta account has no presence on any Wargaming server and vice
versa, and there is no transfer in either direction.
So the first thing to read on any tank listing is not the battle count. It is
the operator.
If you play from Russia or Belarus, you play Mir Tankov — the Wargaming client
does not serve those regions. If you play from anywhere else, you play World of
Tanks, and the only remaining choice is the cluster: EU for Europe and the CIS
outside Russia, NA for the Americas, ASIA for the Pacific.
Wargaming clusters share an account but not progress, and a transfer between
them is a paid service that resets some things. Between Wargaming and Lesta
there is nothing to transfer at all.
Two things stand out.
Most of the shelf is Lesta. The Russian market for tank accounts is the
biggest one there is, and our supply reflects it: Lesta listings outnumber
Wargaming ones by more than two to one. If you are looking for a World of Tanks
account in the strict sense — Wargaming — you are shopping in the smaller part of
this shelf, and the filter is the first thing to apply.
The medians are close, and that hides two different products inside each
operator. On both sides the shelf splits into garage accounts — no battles, a
stocked garage, sold cheaply — and played accounts with a history. Inside Lesta,
a played account runs several times a garage one; inside Wargaming the same
split holds. So a Lesta and a Wargaming listing at the same price are usually the
same kind of account, and a cheap listing on either side is usually a garage.
Compare within the operator and within the kind, never across.
The small Asia row is a niche of its own: a handful of very large accounts with
full tech trees, priced accordingly. It is not "Asia is expensive" — it is that
almost nothing else is listed there.
- Operator. Lesta if you play from Russia or Belarus, Wargaming otherwise.
Nothing on the listing matters until this matches.
- Cluster, on the Wargaming side: EU, NA or ASIA, by where you are.
- Garage or played. Decide which product you want before you compare
anything — the two are priced as different goods.
- Then the account itself, which for a played one is mostly the battle count.

A listing that says "World of Tanks" and means Mir Tankov will be opened by a
buyer who cannot use it, and the sale falls through at delivery. Name the
operator in the first words — Wargaming or Lesta — and the cluster if it is
Wargaming. On this shelf that is the line that decides whether your buyer can
log in at all.
