Most of what is sold as a Red Dead Redemption 2 account is a licence: a Steam, Social Club or Epic login that owns the game and has never launched it, priced at whatever that store charges for the game, minus a little. The rest is a different product — a Red Dead Online character on a console, boosted to a rank with gold bars and cash in the bank, sold as a package. The first kind is bought to play the story; the second to skip a year of Online. They do not compare on any number, and the title tells you which is which in its first words.
