Two questions come before the price of a World of Tanks account, and most
sellers skip both. Which operator is it on — Wargaming or Lesta — because
a buyer on the other one cannot use it at all. And is it a garage or a
career — because our shelf prices those as two products, not as one
account with more or less on it. Settle both, then read the tables.
Our shelf holds 1 441 World of
Tanks accounts, median $19.09,
the middle half between $9.53 and
$73.91.
sell under $10 and
clear $100 — a wide
cheap base and a thin top, and the top is careers, not garages.
Since 2022 World of Tanks runs as two separate games: Wargaming (EU, NA,
Asia) and Lesta (the RU cluster, «Мир танков»). Accounts are not shared
and, since March 2023, no transfer in either direction is accepted — the
split is explained in
Wargaming vs Lesta: which server.
Say the operator in the first three words of the listing. Our filter is set
on it, and a listing without one is invisible to half the buyers and useless
to the other half.
Read the Asia row as composition, not as a premium: the few Asia listings
are the shelf's top-tier garages — six tier-X tops, full 3D-camo collections
— and the row prices what is listed there, not the cluster.
The account itself is an email plus a password, protected by a phone number
and, optionally, two-factor authentication — on both operators. What changes
hands is that email, in a form the buyer can make his own. And both
operators' game rules prohibit selling: Wargaming's say account selling or
sharing is «a serious violation» of the rules and the EULA and that Wargaming
«will not be responsible for any loss or damage caused by account selling or
sharing»; Lesta's forbid posting any intent to sell or buy an account in the
game's channels. Enforcement follows the posting, not the account — write
your listing here, not in the clan chat.
First the split that decides which table you belong in:
Most listings say nothing about battles: garage accounts — tanks, gold,
bonds, a reward vehicle — with no career behind them, priced as such. The
listings that state a career are the other market, and inside it one number
does almost all the work:
The win rate does not help you, and above 60% it hurts: those listings are
new accounts whose twenty low-tier wins produced an 80% figure, and the
shelf has already worked that out. The full reasoning, with the win-rate
table, is in
how much a World of Tanks account is worth.
- The operator. Wargaming or Lesta, then the cluster.
- Garage or career. A battle count, or an honest «no battles».
- Battles, if a career; tanks by name and tier, if a garage —
reward and premium vehicles first, because they cannot be bought back.
- Gold, bonds, premium days — the liquid part.
- The access line: email handed over, phone unlinked, 2FA off.
- Win rate and WN8 — last, and only with a real career behind them.
- Read Wargaming's email rules before you touch anything. Changing the
account email requires access to the account and a linked phone number;
if the phone was changed, the email cannot be changed for 30 days; and
once changed, it cannot be changed again for 14 days. The change is
confirmed by an activation link to the new mailbox and the account
password. So the sequence is: your phone stays on until the email has
moved, the email moves to a mailbox you will hand over whole, and only then
the phone comes off — a seller who unlinks the phone first has locked the
email for a month.
- On Lesta, the personal cabinet does the same jobs — email, phone,
two-factor, payment methods, deletion — in one place; go through it top to
bottom.
- Know what the email opens. Wargaming's account linking lets one set of
credentials hold accounts on several servers, each operating on its own
cluster. If your email opens an EU account and an Asia account, a buyer of
«the account» gets both — split them before you sell one.
- Unlink your phone, turn off your 2FA, remove saved payment methods —
after the email has moved, per the rule above.
- Screenshot the garage and the profile, not the hangar wallpaper: the
vehicle list with tiers, the service record with battles and win rate, the
gold and bond balance.
- Leave the account alone once it is listed. No battles, no gold spent,
no clan changes. The listing goes through moderation, and a description
that no longer matches fails at handover — a refund, not a sale.
- Price against the band, not the ceiling. Garage accounts price by what
is in them; careers price by the battle band above. The
World of Tanks value calculator reads live
listings once you give it the numbers.
Neither operator transfers accounts, so a previous owner's route back is the
same as everywhere: recovery through support with proof — the original
email, the phone, receipts. The money therefore does not arrive on delivery.
It sits in escrow while the buyer checks the login; if he stays silent the
order confirms itself after 72 hours. Then the buyer's warranty runs, and only
then does the amount land on your balance. A recovery filed inside that window
is a dispute you lose, and the sale unwinds. Sell once and for good, and the
money is yours. The legal side, and how it differs from a ban, is in
is it legal to buy a game account.
Tank accounts change hands in clan Discords and Telegram groups, and that is
where sellers lose money — and, on this game, where they get their account
blocked for posting the offer. The pattern is always the same: the buyer asks
for the login first and the transfer after, or pays in a way that can be
reversed once the mailbox has been handed over. No chat holds the money for
you. On a marketplace with escrow the buyer pays first, and once the handover
is confirmed the payment cannot be pulled back; what the marketplaces charge
for that, side by side, is in
where to sell game accounts.
You set the price you want to receive, and that is the amount that reaches you.
Seller commission is 0%, there is no listing fee, no monthly fee and nothing
is withheld at payout. The order runs in steps: a buyer pays; you have 24 hours
to deliver, and the deadline is printed on your listing; the buyer checks; the
warranty runs; the money lands on your seller balance; you request a payout —
crypto or card.
Sell your World of Tanks account prices the listing
against live shelf data and walks the handover; the
seller application is the way in. The listing itself — what to
write, what gets rejected, what protects you — is in
how to sell a game account for what it is worth.
Every figure on this page is computed from our live catalogue when the page is
served, and each table prints how many listings stand behind each band.
Correlations are Spearman rank coefficients. The email and phone rules are
