Rank sets the anchor, recent win rate nudges it, and the gap between the two is why your LP gains feel unfair. Three fields, no login, no Riot ID — the scale this runs on is printed right below.
Riot does not publish real MMR — every checker, ours included, estimates it from public signals. The scale below is the reference this tool uses; no login, no Riot ID, no credentials.
Digging out of a low band costs dozens of games at reduced gains. A fresh unranked account starts placements clean — escrow holds the money until you confirm the login works.

Approximate bands per tier — the same numbers the checker anchors to. Riot's real values are hidden and per-queue; treat this as a map, not a measurement.
| Tier | Approx. band | What it usually means |
|---|---|---|
| Iron | 0–400 | Fresh accounts and placements settle here |
| Bronze | 400–800 | Below the ladder's midpoint |
| Silver | 800–1200 | The median stretch of the player base |
| Gold | 1200–1600 | Above the average seat |
| Platinum | 1600–1900 | Top quarter territory |
| Emerald | 1900–2200 | Entry to the upper ladder |
| Diamond | 2200–2550 | High-skill bracket, decay begins to matter |
| Master+ | 2550+ | Apex tiers — single LP number, no divisions |
Tier and division set the baseline band. That is the one public number the matchmaker itself maintains, so it carries most of the weight.
A recent stretch above 50% pushes the estimate up — the queue is telling you it expected less. Below 50%, the reverse. The nudge is capped: bigger drift moves your badge instead.
Solo/Duo and Flex hold independent ratings. An estimate for one says nothing about the other, which is why the tool reads one queue at a time.
Ahead, in line, or behind — the label compares the estimate to your badge and predicts which way your LP gains lean until they reconverge.
The hidden matchmaking rating Riot uses to build lobbies. Your visible tier and division are a display layered on top of it — they usually agree, but after loss streaks, long breaks or a fresh placement run they drift apart, and the drift is what LP gains quietly report.
As accurate as any public estimate gets: Riot does not expose real MMR to anyone, API included. Rank anchors the band, recent win rate nudges it — checkers that ask for your Riot ID compute the same thing from the same public signals, just with extra steps.
That asymmetry is the clearest public symptom of rating sitting below your badge. The system pays less for wins it half-expects you to lose, and charges more for losses it predicted. The Health line in the result reads exactly this.
No — each queue keeps its own rating. A dominant ARAM record says nothing about your Solo/Duo band, which is why this checker asks about ranked signals only.
Win more than you lose at the rank you are at — there is no other lever. Practically that means a small champion pool, one role, and not queueing tilted. Duo with a slightly higher-rated partner speeds it up within what the queue allows.
Placements seed a new account near the ladder's middle and adjust hard from your first results — which is why smurfs climb fast out of low tiers. If your current account's rating is buried, a fresh start is often cheaper in hours than digging out.
